Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of School Path AI. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. They are written in plain English where possible — if anything is unclear, please ask before signing up.

What School Path AI is (and isn't)
School Path AI is a research tool that helps families and advisors explore independent schools, sixth forms, and university destinations in the United Kingdom. We aggregate publicly-available data — DfE performance tables, ISI inspection reports, schools' own published “Where do leavers go?” pages and annual destinations reports — and present it through searchable lists, comparison tables, and pathway visualisations.
What we are not:
- We are not a regulated education advisor. We do not provide regulated advice on admissions, fees, or scholarships.
- We cannot guarantee admission. The probabilities you see are statistical descriptions of past cohorts, not predictions for any individual child.
- We are not affiliated with any school whose data we surface. Schools do not pay for placement on our rankings.
Decisions about your child's education should be made with input from the child's current school, professional consultants where relevant, and the senior schools / universities themselves. School Path AI is one input, not the whole picture.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain knowingly false information, or that are used in ways that breach these terms.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid features are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate.
- Trial. Where a free trial is offered, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing for a full refund, provided you have not started using the substantive features. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
- Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an active subscription.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of our database without written permission. (Querying via your account for personal research is fine; building a competing product on top of our data is not.)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the service to send spam, abuse staff, or harass other users.
- Submit data you know to be false in user-contribution channels.
- Use automated agents that exceed reasonable rate limits (more than ~120 requests per minute).
Data accuracy and disclaimers
We work hard to surface high-quality data and to label its provenance honestly. Every figure on the site carries a confidence label. Numbers we cannot back with verified published sources are either flagged or withheld entirely.
That said, the service is provided “as is”:
- School data may be out of date by 6–18 months.
- Probability calculations are descriptive averages over historical cohorts. They are not forecasts.
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
See our Data Sources & Disclaimer page for a full account of how we work.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by English law.
Subject to that, our aggregate liability under or in connection with these terms (including in negligence) for any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost goodwill, or for choices you make based on data we surface.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, you lose access to paid features but we will retain anonymised analytics as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers domiciled elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their local courts.
